Damon Buffini
Damon is chairman of Permira and serves on the Board. He is chairman of the Investment Committee. Damon joined Permira in 1988 and became UK managing partner in 1999, managing partner in 2000 and chairman in 2007.
During the last 10 years Permira has grown funds under management from €1bn to €21bn, expanded its offices from 4 to 12 and achieved realised profits of over €10bn.
Damon is President of Fairbridge a nationwide charity focussed on marginalised young people; an Associate Fellow of Oxford Business School and a member of the Prime Minister’s Business Council for Britain.
